2ND ANNUAL

 BOW,ALLENSTOWN,DUNBARTON,PEMBROKE & WEARE

   POLICE DEPARTMENTS CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY

The Bow, Allenstown, Pembroke, Weare and Dunbarton Police Departments recently hosted the 2nd annual Citizen Police Academy.  Citizen Police Academy participants were exposed to many facets of law enforcement that have never been offered to citizens before. Topics if interest were taught by members of each department as well as representatives from the New Hampshire State Police, New Hampshire Fish and Game, NH Police Standards and Training, Merrimack County Attorney’s Office and many more. Many of these classes provided “hands on” experiences that provide an element of excitement and participation. Subjects included operational information, physical interaction, demonstrations and field trip experiences. This class culminated with a graduation ceremony.  Anyone interested in attending the third annual (dates to be determined) are encouraged to contact Officer Diana Scott at (603) 228-0511.
