Programs



OCI- OPERATION CALL IN

This program is for the senior residents in town to on a call list. They can call the dispatch center every day for check in. If the member has not been heard from by 10:00 AM, an Officer will respond to the residence to check their welfare.

VHC- VACATION HOUSE CHECKS

Residents can fill out a vacation house check form if they plan to be away on vacation. The information is entered into the system and Officers will do random checks on the residence until the owner returns.

EXPLORER PROGRAM

This is a program for high school age students to participate in all simulated aspects of the law enforcement field. They can also apply and be accepted to attend the Explorer Academy and also compete with other Explorers around the state in competitions.

CONCORD REGIONAL CRIMELINE

Concord Regional Crimeline is a non-profit partnership between the law enforcement community, and the communities they serve. It provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they have knowledge. Cash rewards up to $1000 are offered to people who call the program and their information leads to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property, or the seizure of illegal drugs. Concord Regional Crimeline is a member group of Crimestoppers International. The Crimeline phone staffed twenty-fours a day. Callers are given a code number which is used in all subsequent calls and callers do not have to identify themselves. Who Administers the Crimeline ? A volunteer Board of Directors actively administers and is responsible for the program. Concord Regional Crimeline is a non-profit organization and is responsible for raising funds and the disbursement of rewards. The Board of Directors works in close cooperation with participating police agencies in the greater Concord service area. If you have any information on any crime, or the location of any stolen property or illegal drugs, or know the location of any wanted fugitive in the greater Concord area please call the CRIMELINE at (603) 226-3100. Other agencies participating are Allenstown, Boscawen, Bow, Chichester, Concord, Henniker, Hopkinton, Merrimack County Sheriff?s Office, Pembroke and Warner.

GRANTS

The Police Department applies for and accepts grants such as Homeland Security I, Homeland Security II, Seatbelt- Highway Safety, Underage Drinking- Highway Safety, Speed Enforcement - Highway Safety.

CHILD IDENT-A-KIT

The department has the kit available for parents for the purpose of recording fingerprints, dental records, and picture for identification purposes.

 

CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY PROGRAM

 

This program was created because across the country 73-90 percent of all car seats are installed or used incorrectly.  This program allows you have your car seat inspected free of charge.  Inspections are done at the police department by appointment only.  Any questions please call Communications Specialist Scott Eaton (228-0511)
